Donations - Manually
UO Darwinism Shard is a F2P mmorpg game, directed by it's staff, supported by it's players and funded by it's donators. All donations will be used to pay server costs, update the content and upgrade the hardware. Read my Donation Philosophy
Legal Notice: Donations are considered gifts to the shard and are not for any tangible items or merchandise. When you are donating to the shard you are giving money to support a hobby gaming site, not purchasing anything of value.
Use this button to donate any amount you choose. Paypal will send UOD a text alert and we will visit you asap. After you donate, please page in-game with your acct name AND your player name to alert us of your donation.
Bill Me Later Option - Paypal Credit
There is a new Paypal Credit option which allows players to Donate a higher amount to get the bonus items. They give you a line of credit to break up the payment into smaller amounts. Look for the option when you sign into Paypal.
PayPal gives you more buying power - Players can buy more when they can pay over time. With PayPal, you get access to financing for 6 months on purchases of $99 or more. Subject to credit approval.
How do I start using PayPal Credit?
Select PayPal Credit as your payment choice during checkout. You'll be asked to provide your date of birth and the last 4 digits of your Social Security number, and then to agree to the terms and conditions to apply for a PayPal Credit account. You'll know within seconds if you are approved. And here's the cool thing: link your PayPal Credit account to your PayPal account and you'll see it as a payment option when you check out with PayPal.
Donate through SQUARE
If you don't have a Paypal account, we can take a single credit card payment through SQUARE. We would need your name, credit card number, cv # on the back of the card and the billing zip code to process the card (contact Dante directly).
If you don't have a credit card, you can buy a gift card and seems to work well, it's good for foreign transactions as well
Darwinism Dollars
Darwinism Dollars(DD) is a virtual type of currency you receive when you donate as a token of our appreciation and shard support. DD can also be obtained in-game by participating in select staff run events, auctions, voting, purchasing from players and in special monster loot. Darwinism Dollars have no real monetary value and are used in game for accounting purposes.
DD is exchanged in a 20 to 1 Ratio
$1 = 20DD
- Darwinism Dollars can be redeemed in game at the white vendor stones located at Trinsic and Britain banks. Make sure when you donate you send us your character name AND account name so we can identify you.
- Darwinism Dollars/Donations are non-refundable and have no cash value.
